Standing up for its school masking decisions, the Conewago Valley School District Board rebuked the recommendation of Rep. Dan Moul, R-91, a week after the politician spoke in support of students’ individual choice to wear a mask.

During the public comment period during Monday’s district meeting, William Getz, a resident of the school district, asked the board to clarify whether it planned to follow a statewide mask mandate after hearing the state representative call the order “toothless” at its study session Monday, Sept. 13.
