It appears the property tax rate will remain unchanged in Cumberland Township and two police vacancies will be filled with a combination of full- and part-time officers.

Without dissent Tuesday, the township Board of Supervisors gave preliminary approval to a 2022 budget draft that retains the current general fund tax rate of 1.9 mills. A mill equals $1 of tax on each $1,000 of a property’s assessed valuation.
