Independents and members of smaller political parties will be able to vote on proposed state constitutional amendments during the upcoming municipal primary election.

On May 18, the date set for the primary, voters who are not registered as Republicans or Democrats will be issued ballots containing only the amendments, Adams County Elections and Voter Registration Director Angie Crouse said.
