Trick-or-treating is set for Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m., but pandemic precautions are in order, Gettysburg Mayor Ted Streeter said Tuesday.

Letting people decide for themselves whether to participate is preferable to imposing a governmental ban, but “some caveats” still apply, he said during the borough council meeting.
