Thanks to a $2-million state grant announced Friday, the Adams County Historical Society (ACHS) has reached 75 percent of its goal for a new museum, archive and education center.

The facility’s goal is to present the county’s story “from prehistory all the way to the present,” ACHS Executive Director Andrew Dalton said.
