As the sun was setting on Memorial Day, an estimated 250 people stood silently as 20 buglers sounded a cascading series of taps at Gettysburg’s National Cemetery.

Sponsored by the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania, the Gettysburg National Military Park (GNMP), and Taps for Veterans, the ceremony launched the fifth annual One Hundred Nights of Taps.
