Bermudian Springs School District pushed back its starting date to Monday, Aug. 31, during Tuesday’s board meeting.

As of Monday, 96 percent of district students had indicated their intention to attend school in one of several options. Having a better grasp of expectations, Superintendent Shane Hotchkiss requested an extra week to prepare for the start of school. The board’s unanimous vote to alter the schedule also pushed high school graduation to June 4.
