President Donald Trump named Gettysburg National Military Park (GNMP) as a potential site for his speech accepting the Republican nomination.

But if he plans to speak here Aug. 27, he may want to alert park officials, whom the campaign had not contacted as of Tuesday, GNMP Acting Public Affairs Officer Jason Martz said.

Remind me again who the NPS Superintendent and the Secretary of the Interior reports to, and who is ultimately in charge of federal land and historic sites? Oh yeah, that would be the President.
