New Oxford Lion's Club Orange Car ready for business

The New Oxford Lion’s Club Orange Car is in the southeast quadrant of the New Oxford square. Pictured from left, are J.R. Deatrick, Dwight Monn, and Barbara and Dennis Bidwa. The Bidwa’s are from the West Manheim Lion’s Club since the New Oxford Lion’s Club is short on volunteers. Offerings include oranges, grapefruit, Super Bells, Adams County apples and Amish-made brooms. Proceeds from the sale benefit organizations in Adams County.

A refreshing wedge of citrus fruit on a cold winter day can nourish the body and brighten the spirit.

The New Oxford Lions Club aims to have the same effect on its community, making the Lions Club Orange Car the perfect fundraiser for the community-based service organization.
