The case of the missing bench went colder than a seat without a backside, but the story still had a heartwarming ending.

After reading about the theft of their neighbor’s bench in the Gettysburg Times, Baltimore Street, Gettysburg business owners John Buchheister, of the Maryland Sutler, and Marty Mummert, of Marty Mummert Studios, collaborated to replace it free of charge to the owners.
