Only empty chairs fill the lawn at Gettysburg College which has closed its doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In the week before Gettysburg College students returned to their studies, professors and administrators completed a crash course in online education.

A four-person team spent the last week bringing more than 300 college staffers up to speed with tools that will help them navigate arising challenges as Gettysburg College moves to an online classroom model.
