On the Edge

THRILLED — A child enjoys adaptive water skiing during an On The Edge Children’s Foundation event.

A Lake Heritage couple wants to make water skiing accessible to all people, including those with handicaps.

Through their foundation, On The Edge Children’s Foundation (OTECF), children, teens and adults with mental or physical disabilities, or “adaptive people” as the Robert and Diane Kasper say, learn to safely cut through the water aboard a modified, seated ski.
