AUTHOR — James Fritz is the author of “Historic Architecture of Adams County, Pennsylvania: African and Dutch Experience.”

A new book by historian James Fritz showcases early African American and Dutch settlers in Adams County through a study of the area’s historic buildings.

The 309-page book is the third in Fritz’s “Historic Architecture of Adams County, Pennsylvania” series. The collection tells the stories of early settlers and villages of Adams County using historic maps, photos and documents.
