Driver trapped in Bon-Ox crash

Pennsylvania State Police troopers stand on a vehicle’s roof that was cut off by firefighters to extricate the driver after a one-vehicle crash Tuesday in the 2300 block of Bon-Ox Road near Kohler School Road. Agencies, including the United Hook and Ladder and Irishtown fire companies, were dispatched about 1:05 p.m. Officials on the scene in Mount Pleasant Township said the northbound Toyota Corolla ran off the road, struck a drainage ditch, and landed on its side. The driver, who remained seat belted in place prior to extrication, was transported by ambulance. (Photo Courtesy of Charles Marley)
