Route 15 wreck sends 1 to hospital

One person was apparently injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 15 Friday morning. Emergency personnel put the driver of the Nissan Rogue on a backboard for transfer to the ambulance for transport to an area hospital. The vehicle appeared to have been traveling north just north of the Hunterstown Road overpass when it ran off the road and struck several small trees and bushes. Emergency personnel from Gettysburg Fire Department along with Adams Regional Emergency Medical Service (AREMS) and Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene about 11:18 a.m. The passenger in the vehicle was not transported.
