Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty announced that Tereasa Forbes has been named Director of Operations for their Gettysburg Office, effective August 6th. Forbes will work with the existing Gettysburg team to grow and enhance the office’s operations and market share.
Forbes comes to this company with a wealth of knowledge across multiple disciplines. Knowledge from these previous roles has prepared her with the expertise needed to guide agents towards success.
“I am so excited for Tereasa to have this opportunity to lead and grow the Gettysburg office. She has a great personality and is driven and committed to helping our agents grow their businesses as well as grow the office,” said Brenda Drawbaugh, York Regional President of Homesale Realty.
When asked about her new position, Tereasa expressed excitement in fostering growth and guiding her new team.
“I truly love to support, encourage, and watch people succeed in their careers. Doing the research, problem solving and using creativity to stand out from the rest are what I would like to give to the agents at the Gettysburg office. I will do the best I can for each person and our office to continue to grow and enjoy the work we do. I can’t wait to get started,” said Forbes
Forbes began her real estate career in 2001 and worked diligently to gain her associate broker’s license in 2005. Her tenacity for the real estate market landed her a position with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, negotiating commercial leases, in 2011. Even though she enjoyed that position, Forbes fondly remembers the excitement and enthusiasm she would see from new homeowners after helping them buy their first property. Forbes also remembers how proud she felt after inspiring fellow agents to pursue their goals and expand their careers.
Although Tereasa was born in Troy, PA, she has spent most of her adult life in areas surrounding Gettysburg, including some in York County as well as the town of East Berlin. Her love of the area drives her passion for the real estate market and she is looking forward to getting back to serving her community with a renewed sense of pride.
