To celebrate Vocational Technical Education Month, three Chestnut Ridge groups teamed up to support their local food pantry. The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), FFA and the National Honor Society (NHS) collected non-perishable food items to donate to the New Paris Food Pantry. With more people needing food during the pandemic, organizers of local food pantries said they are under constant strain to provide for families who have difficulty meeting their nutritional needs. About 600 food items were donated. Pictured with the donations are, from left, Gabby Mishler, NHS president; Laiklyn Luther, NHS vice president; Haylee Fisher, FFA chaplain; Zoie Dunlap, FFA treasurer; Kaitlyn Herman, FBLA vice president; Natalie Claycomb, FFA reporter; Wyatt Wigfield, FFA president; Trevor Harrison, FBLA treasurer; Eli Berkey, FFA sentinel; and Hannah Beutman, FBLA public relations director and acting president and FFA vice president.
