Members of the Southern Huntingdon County School Board, in a special meeting before the regular monthly workshop, voted to send all students back to school on a hybrid model beginning of the week of Jan. 18.

Prior to voting, board members discussed four possible options they could vote for, including one option to send only elementary schools back on a hybrid model, as per the recommendation of the state Department of Education, remain entirely in a remote model with no extra curricular activities or sports, and a remote model with extra curricular and sports activities resuming.
