I guess I’m giving that Pennsylvania bull elk I was going to shoot with my crossbow this fall another year to grow up.

As I was not drawn in the lottery last Saturday for a permit, I now look forward to a Ravin good time next year.

They aren’t stocking trout in August, but the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and its co-operatives are working now to grow tasty torpedoes for next year.

A visit to the Huntsdale State Fish Hatchery at 195 Lebo Road in Carlisle is a must and great educational and fun trip for kids.
