As if there wasn’t already enough pressure on performing well at the YAIAA Cross Country Championships, there was an added twist on Saturday at Gettysburg High School. In addition to awarding medalists and champions, the meet also served as a qualifier for the District 3 Championships.
With two PIAA Class 3A Cross Country Championship meets behind him, Gettysburg senior Andrew Hirneisen made the most of his final run at Hershey’s Parkview Cross Country Course on Saturday.
