The course was a mess, the weather wet and cold. But the day was bright and beautiful for three area cross country runners on Saturday at the girls’ District 3 Championships on the course at Big Spring High School, as they qualified for the state meet.
Fast times have been hard to come by in area cross country meets this year. It is still early, with many big meets yet to come, but Tuesday’s race at New Oxford showed some potential brilliance as the season moves forward.
